Bang AI Terms of Service

Friday Lunch, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) makes Bang AI. These terms apply when you use the Bang AI app, the Bang AI plugin in ChatGPT or this website. By using Bang AI or buying a subscription, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Who can use Bang AI

You must be able to enter a contract. You sign in with Apple, and you’re responsible for what happens in your account and for keeping your phone and Apple account secure.

What Bang AI does

Bang AI edits the videos you record: it cuts pauses and filler, adds captions and overlays, finds moments in your footage, writes scripts and more. It uses AI to do this, so its results are suggestions for you to check before you post.

Bang AI in ChatGPT

The Bang AI plugin in ChatGPT works with the Bang AI account you already have. Once you connect it, you can upload your own takes in its card and cut them with Auto Edit, which spends credits your account already holds; the card shows how many before anything is spent. Open the cut in Bang AI to polish and export it. The plugin doesn’t sell anything or take payments, and it doesn’t export or post videos.

These terms, including “Your content” and “Acceptable use,” apply to what you do through the plugin, and OpenAI’s terms govern your use of ChatGPT. You can disconnect Bang AI in ChatGPT’s settings at any time.

No promise of results or earnings

We say Bang AI can help you make more videos and more money. That’s what we built it for, not a guarantee. We don’t promise any number of views, sales, brand deals, payouts or income, and how much you earn depends on you, the platforms you use and the people who pay you. Examples, comparisons and numbers on our site and in the app are illustrations, not typical or expected results.

AI output can be wrong, incomplete or similar to what others get. Review every edit, caption and script before you publish it. You’re responsible for what you post and for following the rules of the platforms and brands you work with, including any disclosure rules for paid content.

Subscriptions

Bang AI requires a paid subscription. The plans are Starter, Pro and Ultimate, monthly or yearly, and some features, such as scripts, overlays and Edit like this video, are only in some plans. The price, billing period and what’s included are shown before you buy.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price for the same period until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid paying for the next one; you keep access until that period ends.

Bought in the App Store. Apple charges your Apple Account and handles renewals, cancellations and refunds; we can’t issue App Store refunds. Manage or cancel in your iPhone’s Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Bought on the web. Web subscriptions and credit packs are sold through Stripe, which handles payment, sales tax and receipts; we never receive your card number. Cancel or change your plan at app.morebangers.com: open Settings, then Manage subscription. Deleting your account ends a web subscription at once, and the time left isn’t refunded.

We may change prices. A new price applies from your next renewal after you’re told about it, and you can cancel before then. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription, and deleting your account doesn’t cancel one bought in the App Store.

When your subscription ends, the app closes until you subscribe again. Takes you recorded or uploaded, and audio you added to your edits (files, the sound of other videos and voiceovers), may be deleted starting 30 days after it ends; your edits (without those takes and that audio), overlays, scripts and reference videos stay.

Credits

AI features use credits. Your subscription gives you its plan’s credits at the start of each monthly period, including each month of a yearly plan. If an AI task fails, its credits come back to you.

Credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred or sold, and aren’t refunded on their own. If a purchase is refunded, its period ends, its unused credits expire and the credits it gave are taken back, so your balance can go below zero if you already spent them. We may change how many credits a feature uses.

Your content

Your footage, audio, overlays, scripts and edits stay yours. You give us a limited permission to store, copy, process and change them, including with our providers and AI models, only to run Bang AI for you: to edit your videos, transcribe and search them, show them back to you and keep them in sync. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups that cycle out. We don’t use your content to advertise Bang AI or to train AI models.

As far as we have rights in it, what Bang AI makes for you, such as edits, captions, scripts and drawn images, is yours to use. Others may get similar results.

Acceptable use

Only use content you have the right to use. Don’t:

We may remove content or suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these rules. If you believe content in Bang AI infringes your rights, email us with the details.

Our app

Bang AI, including its software, design, mascot and name, belongs to Friday Lunch or its licensors. If you got Bang AI from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement is your license to the app, and these terms apply alongside it. Otherwise, we give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use it while you have access.

Changes and availability

We improve Bang AI over time and may add, change or remove features. We try to keep it running, but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free, and you should keep your own copies of anything important. We may update these terms; we’ll post the new version here with a new date. For a material change, we’ll tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. Using Bang AI after a change takes effect means you accept it.

Ending your use

You can stop using Bang AI at any time, and delete your account in the app’s Settings. Deleting your account deletes your footage and everything made from it, and unspent credits are lost. Cancel an App Store subscription separately, as described above. Deleting your account ends a web subscription. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering Bang AI; if we stop offering it, we’ll tell you first where we can.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent the law allows, Bang AI is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Friday Lunch is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, earnings or data. Our total liability for any claim about Bang AI is limited to what you paid us for Bang AI in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

You agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims by others caused by content you upload or post, or by your breaking these terms.

Governing law and disputes

Delaware law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction, though either of us may bring a claim in small claims court where it qualifies. If you live in the UK or the EU, you also keep the protection of your local consumer law and may bring a claim in your local courts.

Other terms

If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. You can’t transfer these terms; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business. These terms, the Privacy Policy and, for the App Store app, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement are the whole agreement between you and us about Bang AI.
